The wrist take back
All good Tennis strokes requires early wrist take back during the backswing phase. The strokes that are most likely to have this is the forehand groundstroke, backhand groundstroke and the volley.
Be careful though not to perform this movement too late in the backswing phase, wrong use of this take back can cause wristy and loose control shots.
Many adult social players struggle to obtain this movement without knowledge of proper technique.
Our coaches at Sandgate Tennis are always here to help so please give us a call to make a private lesson appointment.
Your Game could improve by 50% if you have never done this before.
Happy playing and have a great game next time you are on the court.
