A committee of experienced dedicated volunteers
Sandgate Tennis is a community based tennis centre owned by Brisbane city council. Brisbane City Council leases this site to an Association who provides a Committee to run and manage the Centre.
Our committee is voluntary and is the key to our success. We are fortunate in having a variety of experienced operators who understands our communities needs. Over 200 members and another 800 players coming through the doors each week, The committee is constantly searching for solutions to meet the needs of all our clientele for this wonderful centre.
Responsibilities for the committee are many. Just to Mention on a few,
- Maintenance
- Managing book work
- Managing staff.
- Public health and safety
- Centre programs and events
- Providing satisfaction to clientele
- Keeping in touch with the community and their ideas.
The committee comprises of a President, A Treasurer, a secretary, a court hire manager, And an association and coaching director.
Thanks to all these positions, Sandgate and surrounding suburbs can enjoy a professionally run Tennis Centre focused on delivering a quality experience and service.
